MRC Microphone Network Meeting 21st September 2016, Cardiff
The MRC Microphone Network Meeting was held on 21st September 2016 in Cardiff. The meeting aimed to review grant impact mechanisms and discuss impact emphasis and requirements. In the Talks session, along with other speakers (Daniel Robert, Allan Belcher, and John Culling), Ahsan Adeel presented the AV-COGHEAR vision, objectives, ongoing-future work, immediate challenges, and video/audio-visual information in hearing aids: A brief review and some future directions.

MRC LLHW - Big Data In Hearing Aids Network
Meeting Held: Manchester 9-10 May 2016This meeting focused on big data in hearing aids, and Andrew Abel and Bill Whitmer from the project attended. In particular, an in depth presentation was given by Andrew, introducing the project and the background research, and valuable connections were made with other members of the network.
